Account & Login
Use the Forgot Password link on the login screen inside Eclipse to start a reset. If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam and promotions folders, and confirm the address matches the one you used to sign up.
Check your spam and promotions folders first, and allow up to 5 minutes for delivery. If nothing arrives, confirm the email address you entered is correct and try again. If the problem persists, use the contact form below.
Sign in using the same email and password you used when you created the account. If you signed up with Sign in with Apple or Google, use that same method on the new device — using a different sign-in method will create a separate account.
Email changes can be requested using the contact form below. Include your current email address and the new address you'd like to use. We'll process the update and confirm when it's done.
Account deletion can be requested via the contact form below. Select Account Issue as the subject and specify that you'd like your account permanently deleted. All data, schedules, and preferences will be removed and this cannot be undone.
Subscription & Billing
Restore your purchase by going to Profile → Manage Subscription inside the app and tapping Restore. If features still don't unlock, contact us using the form below and include your Apple ID or Google account email and the approximate purchase date.
Eclipse subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Go to iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions, find Eclipse, and select Cancel. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then.
Refunds are issued by Apple, not Eclipse directly. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, find the Eclipse charge, and submit a refund request. Apple typically responds within a few days.
Nothing is deleted. Your schedules and settings are preserved exactly as you left them. You'll lose access to premium features until you subscribe, but everything will be waiting for you when you do.
Go to iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions to view, change, or cancel your Eclipse subscription. You can also upgrade or switch billing periods from there.
Getting Started
Eclipse requires iOS 16 or later. App blocking specifically requires iOS 16.1 or later. We recommend keeping your device up to date for the best experience.
Eclipse uses three iOS features: Screen Time / Family Controls for app blocking, Color Filters (via Accessibility) for grayscale, and Focus mode for schedule automation. All of this runs on-device — no usage data leaves your phone.
Make sure all required permissions have been granted at each step. If a step isn't responding, force-quit Eclipse and reopen it. If a Shortcut download fails, try again on a Wi-Fi connection — Shortcuts can time out on slow cellular.
Yes. Eclipse must remain installed for schedules and app blocking to stay active. Deleting the app will remove all active schedules and revoke the associated permissions automatically.
App & Technical
Your iOS Shortcuts automation and Eclipse must use the exact same start and end times — even a one-minute difference will cause it to miss. Open Shortcuts, find your Eclipse automation, and verify the trigger time matches exactly. If times match and it still isn't firing, delete and recreate the automation.
Eclipse Sync requires a brief internet connection at the moment a schedule starts. If your device was offline when the schedule was due to begin, the sync may have failed silently. Ensure you have Wi-Fi or cellular coverage when your schedules are set to start.
Screen Time permissions can be reset by an iOS update or device restart. Go to Settings → Screen Time and re-authorize Eclipse. Once re-authorized, blocking should resume without any changes needed inside the app.
Your end-time Shortcuts automation may not have fired. Open Shortcuts and verify it exists, is enabled, and is set to run without asking. You can also manually disable the Eclipse Focus mode in Control Center to restore color immediately — this won't affect your schedule settings.
This is a UI display issue that can appear when a schedule ends or after resuming from a Grayscale break. It's cosmetic only — your screen and schedule are unaffected. Tap the Eclipse Focus button in Control Center once to reset the button state. This won't change anything visually or functionally.
